While shopping for accessories for your much loved digital media player, including the iPod, you’re definitely going to spend the entire day, choosing from the wide range. The choice really depends on what actually you’re looking for, but eco conscious individuals need something on the green lines. To suit the needs of such individuals, designer Sarah Pease has come up with the “audioJar” – a speaker system housed inside the humble mason jars.

The choice of materials could well be any household item you want to place on your desk as speakers, however, the audioJar is constructed out of glass, fabric and electronics. The electronics get powered by AAA batteries, and is compatible with all sources of music, including iPod and iPhone.
