Living the bachelor life has its own set of advantages, the foremost being access to the entire apartment space. After marriage, apart from some common problems, you mostly don’t have that much room for your video game station or your large office and the space gets even reduced when a new baby is on the way. Battling a similar problem of space, IKEA Hacker Ian from Los Angeles, had to give up his home office when his new baby was coming.
Accepting the challenge to make more room for his baby, Ian created a truly impressive home office built out of IKEA pieces. The office is based on a IKEA stainless steel kitchen work table, which is fitted with some IKEA computer tower desk trays, two steel tabletops, two grated steel shelves. Collectively the pieces are all the office needs. The entire setup can be folded and being mobile it can be moved to any location where he doesn’t disturb the baby.
