Designers Phil Allard and Justin Duchesneau believe that to meditate a person needs a place as natural as it could be. The duo used all skills and their thoughts to come up with Forêt II (translated Forest II), a sustainable meditation chamber that is made using recycled wooden shipping pallets. Using around 800 pallets, the Forêt II has four cardinal points representing the meeting and connection of four territories.
The functional art highlights the core functioning of the palette, which is to transport banal objects, but it is still used everywhere without which it would be difficult to transport large items in large quantities. Supporting itself, the pallet construction creates a unique ambience inside the chamber where sunlight filters through the branches like it does though a tree.
