Out of the hundreds of solar powered gadgets that are available on the market, their use in powering lights is the most common. Since we mostly turn on the lights only when its dark outside, solar powered lights can spend the rest of the day harnessing renewable solar energy and storing it in onboard batteries. The Jellyfish by designer Ryan-J is one such concept that harvests clean energy from the sun during daytime, while sticking to the windowpane.
The concept lighting comes with built-in suction cup, with which users can attach the portable light to the windowpane. The portable light comes with onboard solar panels, which efficiently convert solar energy into electricity, which is stored in an onboard battery. After dark, the light can be removed from the windowpane and turned on to provide illumination.
