With billions of plastic water bottles being thrown away after just a single use in all parts of the world, environmentalists are trying to encourage people to ditch bottled water and make use of filtered tap water, which is just as safe. American company Vapur is now trying to make that shift even easier with the launch of its all-new water bottle, dubbed the Vapur Microfilter.
As the name suggests, the water bottle comes with a micro-filter that removes up to 99.99 percent of bacteria, protozoa and microbes in drinking water. The water bottle is made using three-layer of polyethylene and cleanses up to 1000 liters throughout its lifecycle using Sureaqua straws. The bottle has been designed to be folded, roller or flattened when empty to make it easy for you to use and carry around. However, when filled with water the bottle stands upright.
