One of the biggest problems most electric car drivers have to face is range anxiety, which is the unsurety about the exact range of the electric car when it is being driven. Moreover, since electric car charging stations aren’t just as common as a gasoline station, EV owners don’t usually depend on their electric vehicles during a long distance commute. As a solution the Washington branch of AAA has unveiled an emergency roadside charging station for electric cars.
The charging station, which comes on a specially designed truck, will allow EV drivers statewide to not worry about discharged EV batteries during their trip. The charging station will provide 10-15 miles of charge time to members, which will deliver enough charge to the EV to get the passengers to the next charging station.
