Volkswagen debuts its first all electric production car in e-up!

For after introducing its e-Co-Motion electric van concept and the revolutionary XL1 hybrid, the auto manufacturer has introduced its first electric production car called the “e-up!” that offers a range of up to 93 miles (150 km) on a single charge. Introduced at Volkswagen’s Annual Press and Investors Conference, the four-seat electric car operates with nearly zero noise and zero local emissions to ensure sustainable commuting for city dwellers.
Garrison Architects to build hurricane-proof structures on New York’s beaches
After Sandy devastated the structures on New York’s beaches, architect Jim Garrison of Garrison Architects has been given the task to develop about 50 lifeguard stations and other beach structures to replace the damaged ones. However, the architect was given the task to complete all work within five months, so that the new structures could be opened to the public on Memorial Day weekend.

While nobody would like to have sandwiches or a cup of coffee while being in the restroom, two Englishmen Pete Tomlinson and Ben Russell came up with the idea of designing a one-of-its-kind café inside an abandoned Victorian toilet in London. After seeing the “To Rent” sign for an underground toilet, the Englishmen didn’t want to take up the toilet as it was, but did everything they could to transform the toilet into a café and hence The Attendant was born.

American company Vapur is now trying to make that shift even easier with the launch of its all-new water bottle, dubbed the Vapur Microfilter.
